Your friendly neighborhood hero, Spider-Man, is slinging back on the big screens soon enough, and yet the behind-the-scenes footage already seems to spoil fans on what to expect from Peter Parker’s latest adventure.

Here's why.

How Does the Recent Spider-Man: Brand New Day Footage Spoil the Movie?

You might be surprised to learn that Spider-Man's Brand New Day is not just about expecting the unexpected in his fourth flick, but that it's been potentially leaked during production.

For those unaware, the fourth Spider-Man flick is being filmed in Glasgow, and fans were one step ahead of the studios this time. See, last week, someone named King Spyke on X leaked their AI prompts that transformed set photos of Brand New Day into a film in action.

The leak shows the webslinger in the city chasing after a tank, as seen in the footage where Tom Holland returns to work on set.

On his first day, he got to high-five and take pictures with fans, and guess what else? Ride the tank while trying to pry it open with his bare hands, which happened in the supposed AI leak.

The leak also showed Spider-Man getting interrupted by none other than a raging Hulk, the green beast alter-ego of Dr. Bruce Banner.

If the tank scene in the AI clip becomes scarily accurate, with Mark Ruffalo coming to play in Brand New Day, then is it possible fans have already pinned down what Marvel has in store? Well, that remains to be seen. For now.

What Has Tom Holland Said About Spider-Man: Brand New Day So Far?

"I feel good, man. It's day one, my fourth ever day one on Spider-Man," the BAFTA-winning star Tom Holland said in the video, "You know, it's funny, putting the suit on, it feels different this time, somehow. It's also the first time we've ever had fans on set for day one, so it's really exciting to share this with them."

With the combination of the AI leak, especially with the Hulk scene, this led fans to surmise that the raging beast would be the only character to ever remember Peter Parker existed. Until that was, however, debunked.

Keep in mind that Holland himself said this fourth film will "lean into that old-school filmmaking" and that they explicitly stated Glasgow is where they built "the setpiece" they're putting together.

It may be a breath of fresh air, but prying open a tank scene in the middle of the city feels like an iconic superhero moment than a revelation. Our guess? The AI leak barely scratches the surface and may have been tampered with based on what fans believe could happen, as nothing of the original script has been leaked yet.

Guess fans can only wait until Spider-Man: Brand New Day premieres on the big screens on July 31, 2026.
