Marvel's Spider-Man star Tom Holland isn't just a hero on the big screen, it looks like he's a hero in real life too.
The comic book actor's been pretty busy working the promotional rounds for his second Spider-Man standalone movie, Spider-Man: Far From Home, and as expected Holland's been met by waves of adoring fans. However, during one of his autograph sessions with the fanbase, the Marvel star couldn't help but notice one fan being overwhelmed by the crowd, so much so that she was being painfully pushed against the barricade.
Seeing the fan in pain, Holland rose to action and told the crowd to stop pushing. The actor warned those behind her that if they'd keep on pushing he would throw their things to the ground and when they didn't listen, he did just that to get them to back off.
The fan who goes by the name Cass gratefully wrote about the moment on Twitter.
"TOM HOLLAND JUST THREATENED GROWN ASS MEN THEN THREW THEIR POSTERS BECAUSE I WAS CRUSHED AGAINST THE BARRICADE HE SAID "IM GONNA THROW YOUR SHIT ON THE GROUND IF YOU KEEP PUSHING HER" then came to me and calmed me down and the video HES LITERALLY SO MAD AT GRAPHERS VKSBDKSN WHAT?"
Not only did Holland risk his own safety for a fan, but he took the time to come over to her and calm her down as well. Even the video in Cass' thread shows genuine concern for the welfare of the fans. Holland might not be that good at keeping Marvel secrets but one thing's for sure – he really does care about his fans.
Spider-Man: Far From Home is set to swing in cinemas on July 4, 2019.
