Spider-Man Far From Home Extended Cut Gets Its Own Poster

Despite the backlash over Spider-Man leaving the MCU, Sony is pushing forward with its re-release of Spider-Man: Far From Home. The cut promises four minutes of new footage plus an action scene, and we have a new poster to help promote the movie.

While there has been no official confirmation, I have a feeling that the extended scenes are going to be added at the beginning with Peter Parker doing his "to-do list". It basically contains all the scenes from the trailer where Peter picks up his passport, visits Delmar's grocery, and takes down the mob in the Iron Spider suit (a.k.a. the promised ‘action scene'). It was said that this part was removed in favor of getting Peter to Europe in the film faster.

Personally, I thought it was a shame because I wanted to see how Peter's day to day has turned after being dead for five years. Then again, this is just my guess. It's likely the film has some scenes that we have no idea about at all.

While a lot of fans are still mad at Sony and Disney for the split, a lot are hoping that the two come to an agreement soon. Though both companies stand to lose something with Spidey leaving the MCU, the biggest loser is ultimately the fans.

Catch the extended cut of Spider-Man: Far From Home when it hits theaters Aug. 29.
