The leaks are not stopping, and following the first teaser of Avengers: Doomsday hitting the internet before it was supposed to, an unreleased version of Spider-Man: Brand New Day has followed suit.
This fourth installment of Tom Holland's version of Spidey has been a highly anticipated project by Marvel and web-head fans in particular. It will see Peter Parker deal with the regular struggles associated with the character.
Brand New Day is set to come out in July 2026 and could potentially set up Spider-Man for Doomsday. What fans are more eager to see is a grounded, less tech-savvy version of the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man in action.
The leaked trailer has a ton of VFX shots missing and is, as you'd expect, recorded in very low quality, but judging by some of the scenes and voice-over, it's clear someone at Marvel screwed up big time, as this does not look like the work of AI. You can take a look at the clip below:
More importantly, the footage includes some massive homages, particularly to the iconic Amazing Fantasy #15 cover, with Spider-Man saving a citizen while swinging using one hand.
The reception has been positive thus far, while mocking Marvel Studios for allowing yet another leak in the span of a few days. That said, a few are speculating that the actual studio could be leaking these very low-res versions of the trailer to get the hype train going, building anticipation for the actual releases.
