Once all the credits roll, Ned’s Spidey tracker, an app he designed to track every Spider-Man sighting across New York, triggers. Initially, it says Spider-Man is somewhere around Queens, before spotting a new sighting.
As the pixelated depiction of New York gets smaller as the app zooms out, we discover the sighting is actually not even on this planet—remarkable little invention by Ned, needs to be said.
The implication is, obviously, that Spider-Man has left Earth. This could have multiple interpretations, as the Spidey app glitches before pinpointing the webhead in what essentially looks like outer space. So, what could this mean?
Tom Holland’s Spider-Man Got Sent to Battleworld
It doesn’t seem Holland’s Spider-Man will have a role, or at least a major one, in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday. This could be because Spidey has his hands full while being transported to Battleworld.
In the 2015 crossover Secret Wars, God Emperor Doom (yes, that’s his actual name), created Battleworld by meshing multiple universes on the brink of collapse due to incursions. This was his way of saving these universes, believe it or not, but that’s besides the point at this moment in time.
The tracker itself pinpointing Spider-Man outside the planet could mean Tom Holland's Spider-Man reality is being merged into Battleworld itself and Spidey is among the first humans to be transported into a new reality.
