Spider-Man And Nick Fury Go Boating In New Far From Home Set Photo

It looks like Nick Fury will be taking over as Peter Parker's mentor in Spider-Man: Far From Home. A new set photo features the former SHIELD leader taking a boat ride with the webslinger.

The picture was taken by the paparazzi and shows Spider-Man standing in a boat while the seated Fury maneuvers the vessel. Take a look at the photo below.

It is unclear if the people in the image are Tom Holland and Samuel L. Jackson. Nevertheless, it does confirm that Fury will be keeping a close watch on Peter during the teenager's European trip.

Fury is not the only one who has been spotted around Spider-Man during filming. Several pictures revealed that Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) is also in Europe. One particular image shows the webslinger engaging the villain. However, it is still unclear how Peter ended up on Mysterio's bad side.

We have yet to learn what will happen to Peter in Far From Home. So far, it has been confirmed that the film will take place directly after Avengers 4 so this could mean the high school student will be restored after the events in Avengers: Infinity War.

There are speculations that Peter was on the bus in Infinity War because he was on his way to the European trip. Either way, this should be a major relief for Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), who is also set to appear in the Spider-Man sequel.

Far From Home also stars Cobie Smulders and Michael Keaton. Smulders will reprise her role as Agent Maria Hill and Keaton will return as Adrian Toomes, Peter's adversary in Homecoming. Other returning cast members are Zendaya, Jacob Batolon, Hemky Madera, and Tony Revolori. The film will introduce J.B. Smoove (Curb Your Enthusiasm) and Remy Hii (Marco Polo).

Spider-Man: Far From Home is scheduled for release on July 5, 2019.
