Production and original release dates on various films and TV shows have been delayed indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic. Disney recently updated their release slate, with the highly-anticipated Black Widow movie pushed to November, essentially creating a domino effect with the future MCU films. Sony has also shifted its slate, including Morbius. As for Spider-Man 3? It looks like it'll be staying put.

Per Heroic Hollywood, "a studio insider" from the film claims Spider-Man 3 is still on track with its July 16, 2021 release. Production for Tom Holland's Uncharted has been delayed as well but it looks like the studio is determined to keep the Spider-Man sequel's release date.

The film was aiming to begin principal photography this summer but reports suggest it was delayed as well. That said, it remains to be seen whether or not the project will be affected because it isn't assured if the situation months from now is already safe for studios to start filming. So while Sony is keeping the July 2021 release, this may change at any moment.

For now, Sony has yet to make an official announcement about this, but it surely wouldn't be a surprise (though it could be a disappointment for some) if the studio decides on pushing back the wall-crawler's third film.
