Special Delivery finally arrived on Wednesday, showing Park So Dam on big screens for the first time since her cancer diagnosis.
Park So Dam's agency, ArtistCompany, confirmed in December that the actress was diagnosed with the disease during a regular checkup. The UK's National Health Service (NHS) reveals that it is the most common type of cancer but easier to treat compared to other forms.
She has since undergone surgery and taken time to rest. Unfortunately, it affected her scheduled promotions for her new film.
As she is now recovering well, the Korean actress started looking at the brighter side as she shared details about the film she had not revealed before.

Park So Dam Says Goodbye to Her Fear
In a new interview (via Soompi), Park So Dam shared the good news to fans, telling them she has been stable following her surgery. After sharing a glimpse of what her life looks like right now, she confessed how Special Delivery helped her overcome her fear of driving.
According to Park So Dam, she can finally drive on her own again. She can confidently take her grandmother to the hospital and even go on a road trip with her parents. She reportedly began to feel scared even just riding a car because of her past accident.
However, she had to drive a vehicle for the movie, and it made her forget about her fears.

Park So Dam Sets Greatest Goal For This Year
Her success in Parasite led her to more films and series, and she would soon mark her 10th anniversary since she debuted with INGtoogi in 2013.
Although she was diagnosed with cancer, Park So Dam keeps her head high and hopes to work on a foreign project soon. While waiting for it to happen, she reportedly needs to prepare herself once the opportunity arrives.
In addition, she reportedly wants to reach her goal after realizing that there are a lot of people who support her in her career.
"My goal is to be really healthy. I want to be healthy in mind and body like I've always said, I want to do the work I love for a long long time, and I want to experience a lot of things. There's so much I haven't done yet. I want to live long, healthily, and happily," she went on.
Park So Dam remains in her recovery period, and she will have more projects after Special Delivery – for sure – once she feels okay.
