The end of Avengers: Endgame might have had Thor (Chris Hemsworth) tagging along with Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) and the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy, but that doesn't really mean that Marvel fans are going to see a dance off between Odinson and Peter Quill in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
Sure, Star-Lord might have tried to have a dance-off with Ronan the Accuser (Lee Pace) in the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie, but that doesn't mean that Peter Quill's going to have a dance competition in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Taking to Instagram (via ComicBook.com), Gunn decided to address some pressing questions about the third Guardians movie. It seems like the director's been constantly asked by a fan to "please put Quill and Thor having a dance off in GOTG3!"
It might seem like a cute request from a fan, but Gunn says that the dance off is just "not gonna happen."
While fans are hoping to see Thor join the Guardians in their adventures around the cosmos in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, we can't be entirely sure about the Asgardian God of Thunder's role in the upcoming Guardians movie. Sure, Thor might have tagged along with the Guardians at the end of Avengers: Endgame, but Gunn has made it clear that he wants to keep his attention on the main team.
It would be a hoot of Thor was a part of the movie though. Imagine all of the shenanigans the Guardians would get into with Thor around.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has yet to receive a release date but we'll update everyone as soon as we get word.
