Sophie Wessex Reportedly Relieved She No Longer Needs to Curtsy to Meghan Markle?
King Charles gifted his younger brother, Prince Edward, their late father Prince Philip's previous title by making him and his wife, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, the new Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, on his 59th birthday. The changes reportedly left Sophie relieved that she no longer needed to curtsy to the former actress as she was previously duty-bound to defer to Prince Harry's wife, who was of a higher rank.
A source told Daily Mail:

According to her, Prince Harry asked her if she knew how to curtsy because she had to do so when she met the Queen.
"I just thought it was a joke," she said before re-enacting the exaggerated curtsey she gave Queen Elizabeth II before laughing.
