Three episodes into Solo Leveling Season 2, and the story is getting more exciting. Sung Jin-woo is getting stronger, but his strength will soon be tested when he meets the Hunters Guild master, Choi Jong-in, in Episode 4, titled “I Need to Stop Faking.”

Jin-woo is already drawing attention for effortlessly completing even the most difficult hunter missions despite his low rank.

As he prepares to fully unleash his true potential, fans can expect major developments in the upcoming episode.

What to Expect in Solo Leveling S2E4?

The anime’s official website has now released the preview for Episode 4. In addition to Jong-in, the images also show the arrival of Cha Hae-in, an S-Rank Hunter and the Vice-Guild Master of the Hunters Guild.

Baek Yoon-ho and Woo Jin-chul will also make their appearances.

After Episode 3 reveals that he has left the instant dungeon, it's clear that Jin-woo will return to reach the top of the Demon Castle.

His goal is to defeat the final boss and obtain the Elixir of Life to heal his mother.

With his incredible strength and newfound experience, Jin-woo is clearly no longer an A-Rank hunter. It's safe to say he's now an S-Rank, prompting him to reconsider his standing within the Hunter's Association.

You can read Episode 4’s official synopsis below:

To clear the S-rank dungeon "Demon's Castle," Jinwoo realizes he needs to level up even further. Determined to join high-level raids, he decides to undergo a re-examination of his hunter rank. As Jinwoo, who has immense magical power that exceeds the capabilities of standard measurement devices, begins to attract the attention of top guild masters like Baek Yoon-ho and Choi Jong-in, a certain individual also pays Jinwoo a visit.

If Jin-woo becomes S-Rank, he will surely attract public attention, making him the 10th S-Rank hunter in the country.

He will also get a visit from Jong-in. In addition, Episode 4 is also expected to cover the short Retesting Rank Arc and begin the Hunters Guild Gate Arc.

If this happens, fans are about to witness the highly anticipated first encounter of Jin-woo and Hae-in.

In the next turn of events, Jin-woo entered the Demon Castle, an S-Rank dungeon the system provided, to obtain the Elixir of Life’s recipe to cure his mom.

He was welcomed with a mission to collect 10,000 demon souls and quickly advanced through the 100th floor.

After defeating the bosses Vulcan and Metus, Jin-woo finished the quest and cleared 75 floors, acquiring two pieces of a set item—a key and an orb of malice.

Episode 3 also introduced Jin-woo’s father, Sung Il-hwan, who possessed an incredible amount of power after defeating the S-Rank hunter Hwan Dongsoo, who planned to take revenge on him in Jinwoo’s place.
