The anime’s official website has given a glimpse of the Red Gate Dungeon boss that Jinwoo and the rest of the hunters have to face in Solo Leveling Season 2 Episode 2.
The official synopsis reveals that Jinwoo and his team will meet Baruka, the Ice Elf dungeon boss, as they wander around the forest several days after their entrapment.
However, Baruka isn’t just an ordinary enemy; he possesses the ability to communicate, highlighting his intellect. Surprisingly, Jinwoo understands him, probably with the help of the System.
Baruka comes up with a cunning proposal that could change Jinwoo and his fellow hunters’ fates. He offers to spare Jinwoo in exchange for his team members.

To everyone's shock, the gate unexpectedly transformed into a Red Gate, thrusting them into a far more dangerous mission.
Sealed inside with no hope of escape or outside assistance, they ended up in a snowy landscape teeming with deadly monsters, including intelligent ice elves.
Led by Baruka, these ice elves are depicted as highly intelligent and strategic adversaries, making it Jinwoo's responsibility to confront these formidable foes.
As Episode 1 revealed, Jinwoo struggled to manage his mana consumption while controlling his Shadow Army, indicating that he may once again be pushed to his limits when Episode 2 comes out.
