You heard it right, besties! Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie are reuniting for a new reality show on Peacock almost two decades after The Simple Life concluded!
Paris and Nicole are officially entering a "New Era" with the "Same Besties" soon in a yet-to-be-announced project for the streamer, announced via an Instagram post on May 13.
What better way to celebrate their reunion than to rank their funniest and most memorable antics on the 2000s show? Here are the top 10 most 'out of touch' moments on The Simple Life with Paris and Nicole!
What's a Walmart?
It's not that Paris Hilton doesn't know what a Walmart is. But it's the implication that she's so 'out of touch' that she doesn't know what the store sells.
"What is Walmart?" the people gasped at that question, "It's like, they sell wall stuff?" But this is what made the episode even funnier, that they're willing to believe a rich blonde girl could be this unaware of her surroundings.
"Do You Have 25 Cents?"
It's shopping time! For once, the besties spent the whole time on a shopping spree and eventually came to a total checkout of $49,604.25.
Before handing her credit card, Nicole looked at Paris and said, "Do you have 25 cents?" As if spending 40,000 something was some easy pocket money to spend on a whim.
"Deputized"
When Paris and Nicole are staying at the Click Ranch, they get to do the deputy sheriff's job by first serving lunch to the prisoners in jail.
While they try to keep it friendly with inmates, Nicole Richie once said, "The weather is not that great outside, so you're not missing much."
The Maids Called in... More Maids
The Simple Life wouldn't be "the simple life" without Paris and Nicole eventually bailing on work just to get some relaxation squeezed into the episode.
Despite being hired as maids at the motel of the resort, they couldn't keep up with the rules and ended up having to pose as residents. Instead of doing the work, they took the credit from the maid who cleaned the room.
"Manufacturing"
Paris and Nicole are stuck in a boring manufacturing office with nothing to do, what could go wrong? Well, everything, really.
To get rid of their boredom, they pretty much did the same thing the sitcom The Office did (minus the Dunder Mifflin shenanigans). They hosted office chair races, danced, and wrapped themselves around pink bubble wrap to fight.
When Paris Accidentally Ate Dog Food
Paris was feeling hungry and decided to snack on the job. Little did she know, she was actually eating dog food!
Instead of helping her friend out, Nicole couldn't help but keep screaming and laughing at her mistake. What makes the scene funnier was that Paris couldn't put a finger on it and simply kept spitting, just in case it was dog food.
Paris and Nicole's "Maternal Instincts"
As Paris and Nicole are still trying to figure their life out, The Simple Life season 4 episode 4 sees to it just how difficult it would be if they had to raise a family of their own.
We're talking dishes, kids, groceries — the whole shebang. They barely knew how to get through chores, and eventually, the parents came home to watch their kids eating hotdog sandwiches and tacos for dinner.
Pretty Firefighter Calendars
What could be sexier than wearing a fireman suit while driving a firetruck in Atlantic City? Posing as firemen for a sexy calendar shoot and blow off their training.
As part of season 3's Interns' experience, they did attend an actual 911 emergency. The episode eventually rewarded them with "retired firemen badges."
But hey, it's the suit that counts, right?
"Honey, I'm Not the One Who Needs One"
Anyone knows that the funniest moment in any reality series doesn't have to be an entire episode.
And one thing fans may remember still was the time Paris stroked back at a guy who claimed he wanted to give her a "little bit of makeover", to which Paris iconically said, "Honey, I'm not the one who needs one."
Working as Interns at the Dentist's Office
Paris and Nicole's last internship in The Simple Life season 3 is at the dentist's office where they have to "drill" patients.
But knowing this iconic duo, they make prank calls and use what they're best at doing — make-up before eventually ending their journey in New York City.
Pretty much lit up the episode, while still keeping the viewers on the edge of their seats for a hilarious time.
