Shazam! Star Zachary Levi Brings Back Flynn Rider From Tangled, Makes Interviewer Cry

Before he became Shazam, Zachary Levi was also the handsome thief Flynn Rider in the 2010 Disney film Tangled. In a recent interview, the actor channeled the beloved character again.

A Korean interviewer, who happens to be a fan of Tangled, asked Levi if he could sing a bit of " I See The Light," one of the two songs he recorded for the movie with Mandy Moore, who played Rapunzel. Thankfully, he gave in to the request, and as you would expect, he did not disappoint.

While he forgot some lyrics, the interviewer cried upon hearing Levi sing the song again. In fact, you can see Asher Angel and Jack Dylan Grazer's adorable reactions as the two couldn't help but be in awe of Levi's voice. Look at how their faces change when the actor started to sing. Watch the video below.

The romantic song was played during the part of the movie where Flynn and Rapunzel start to fall in love. They were on a boat watching all the sky lanterns float over the kingdom.

This reminded fans of how good Tangled was. Even though a lot of viewers seem to be very happy with the film and his performance, Levi admitted in a 2014 interview that he thought that his singing sounded "incredibly nasally" after watching the finished film.

The official synopsis for Shazam! reads:

Shazam! hits the cinemas April 6.
