Semantic Error actor Park Seo Ham is taking the memories of him with his fans in the military.
Park Seo Ham immediately found fame after giving up his career as a K-pop idol to work as a full-time actor. But before it happened, he went through many ups and downs in the K-pop industry that seemingly prompted him to shift career.
Before dedicating himself to the acting industry, he initially became a trainee of Big Hit Entertainment alongside KNK member Inseong, and they practice alongside the members of the now-supergroup, BTS. However, he decided to move to JYP Entertainment, where he became an actor trainee after winning the company’s 10th Open Audition.
A few years after honing his skills, he debuted as a member of KNK in March 2016, only to leave the group and 220 Entertainment in 2021.
As he continues to savor his new life as an actor, Park Seo Ham announced his temporary absence as he began serving the country’s military.

Park Seo Ham to Leave Spotlight Temporarily
On March 10, Park Seo Ham and the other cast members presented the last episode of Semantic Error. However, he delivered another bad news as he also revealed his enlistment after undergoing basic training at the recruit training center.
He will serve as a public service worker until his discharge.
Although it indeed saddened his fans, Park Seo Ham penned a heartfelt letter on Instagram and asked them to wait for his return.

“I will be saying my farewell now, but I would be so grateful if you all could tune in for the 9th episode and continue to support the series. To all those who loved 'Semantic Error', I sincerely thank you. To all of my sons and daughters (indicating the fans) who are always on my side, thank you. I was so happy to be able to live as Jae Young. I will do my best to return with a better image soon! Thank you, sincerely, thank you!" he wrote in Korean.
He did not disclose the exact date he would return from the military, but Park Seo Ham would surely give his fans a better version of him with the help of his new agency.
Park Seo Ham Signs With New Agency
Before confirming his military enlistment, the former KNK member found a new home and signed a new contract with them.
On Monday, the former K-pop idol secured a deal with Npio Entertainment as an actor. The agency itself also confirmed the new collaboration.
"We've signed an exclusive contract with Park Seo Ham, who is gaining much popularity with 'Semantic Error'. We plan on supporting him so he can show his possibility as an actor in many different fields,” it said.
