Sebastian Stan is one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's longest-tenured actors and for well over a decade now, we've followed the development of Bucky Barnes' character who started out as Steve Rogers' trusty ally, became the Winter Soldier under the influence of Hydra, and would later go on his path to redemption.
Now, with Bucky finally free from the clutches of the villainous organization, it'll be interesting to see what's next for him. However, there are some fans who don't find his MCU arc all that satisfying especially after his character was seemingly watered down after Captain America: Civil War but if you were to ask the 39-year-old star, he'd like to think otherwise.
In a special feature on Esquire's YouTube channel, Stan got honest with Bucky's "divisive" MCU arc. According to him, out of all the stuff he's done in the franchise, he's most happy about Barnes being able to redeem himself from his dark and tragic past. He said: "The best fan question I'm always asked? 'Do you feel Bucky Barnes got justice?' He had plenty of moments and we got him to a good place, so that's what I'm happy about."

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier pretty much proved that Bucky still brings a lot to the table and he's far from being just anyone's sidekick. Hopefully, the MCU continues to explore Bucky's hero side and won't relegate him to being a side character, much like they did during the Infinity Saga.
Sebastian Stan is expected to make his Marvel Cinematic Universe return in Captain America 4.
