Sacha Baron Cohen recently unveiled the unbelievable physical transformation he underwent to play Mephisto in the MCU.
Last month, the Oscar-nominated actor and comedian finally made his long-awaited MCU debut as fan-favorite character Mephisto in the final episode of Ironheart. While it remains to be seen when he will appear again, fans are delighted that the devil himself has finally shown up in the MCU after years of clamoring for his appearance.
How Did Sacha Baron Cohen Physically Transform Into Mephisto in the MCU?

Baron Cohen surprised a lot of fans as he showed his muscular physical transformation and makeover to transform into Mephisto in the MCU in the latest cover of Men's Fitness UK.
While the actor has always been physically fit for the most part of his career, he underwent a massive physical regimen that is similar to the other actors who are playing superheroes in comic book movies, and it resulted in him having a ripped physique.
"This is not AI. I really am egotistical enough to do this," Baron Cohen quipped in his Instagram Story post before he joked again, "Some celebs use Ozempic and some use private chefs, others use personal trainers. I did all three."
The actor joked about his physical transformation again in other posts with the captions: "Hard launching my mid-life crisis" and "Middle-aged man who replaced beer with protein shakes."
In his interview with the magazine, Baron Cohen described his condition at the start of his workout regimen as "having the core strength of an arthritic jellyfish." He also revealed that he received his recommendation for the trainer from Matthew McConaughey.
What is the Future of Mephisto in the MCU?
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige recently confirmed that Mephisto is expected to have more appearances in the MCU soon, now that he's been finally introduced.
"He was never part of WandaVision. We've talked about that. Matt's talked about that. Jac Schaefer's talk about that. He was never part of WandaVision. But the enthusiasm with which he was theorized on that was certainly cool and fun to watch," he said.
"And he's another character that, pre-MCU, would have been hard to do. He's a devil. How do you do that character? But he's a formative character. He was a big part of Thanos' storyline in the comics. So again, now that he's here, the potential is clear."
Feige didn't share any details on which upcoming MCU project Baron Cohen is set to make his next appearance.
