Ahead of the anime's return, the staff of Ron Kamonohashi’s Forbidden Deductions released a new promo video and key visual that teased the upcoming season's events and key characters.
The trailer features footage from the second season that hints at more action-packed mysteries for Ron and Totomaru to solve.
Also showcased were the mysterious characters Mylo and Winter Moriarty, who both appeared in the first season. In season 2, they are expected to have bigger and more significant roles in the series' events.
Meanwhile, the new key art features the main characters—Ron, Totomaru, Amamiya, Kawasemi, Spitz, Chicory, and Mofu—set against the backdrop of the city, where new adventures and mysteries await them in the second season.
Ron Kamonohashi’s Forbidden Deductions S2 to Premiere in October 2024
Shortly after the release of the 13th episode of the first season, Kadokawa revealed on Christmas Day that Akira Amano’s crime and mystery manga series, Ron Kamonohashi’s Forbidden Deductions, will get a second anime season.
A new visual has also been released and posted on the series’ official X (formerly Twitter) account:
Ron Kamonohashi’s Forbidden Deductions season 2 is now in production, and it will delve into the Moriarty Family (M Family) and their intentions for targeting Ron Kamonohashi.
With this, it looks like the second season will focus on Ron Kamonohashi’s investigation into what happened during the Bloody Fieldtrip incident, which changed his life and career.
