"It's good," Pattinson said, before recalling the challenges of playing Bruce Wayne five years later. "I'm definitely feeling my age when fighting a lot. I'm literally like, 'Goddamn, this is significantly harder than it used to be.'"
The 40-year-old The Odyssey star reiterated, though, that despite the struggles, filming had been a positive experience overall. "It's really fun. And I think the movie's going to be pretty great. It's got a really, really fun cast, but it's a marathon."
Considering the amount of physical stunts and having to stay physically fit to play the Dark Knight of Gotham, it looks like Pattinson's going to need a lot more than his face card and mesmerizing performance to return as the Dark Vigilante.

Though production is pushing its lead actor past his physical limits, The Batman: Part II promises to expand Matt Reeves' grounded Elseworlds universe in major ways.
In the sequel, Pattinson is joined by Jeffrey Wright (Jim Gordon), Andy Serkis (Alfred Pennyworth), and Colin Farrell (Oz Cobb/The Penguin), and the cast will also feature high-profile franchise newcomers like Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Charles Dance, and Brian Tyree Henry.
Taking place shortly after the events of HBO's The Penguin, the sequel drops viewers back into wintertime in Gotham, where Bruce Wayne must learn to navigate new political and criminal threats.
