Robert Downey Jr Shares Heartbreaking Avengers: Endgame BTS Look At Tony Stark Peter Parker Reunion

There are several scenes in Avengers: Endgame that made us feel like we were chopping onions in the middle of the movie. One of these moments was undoubtedly the sweet reunion between Tony Stark and Peter Parker where Tony himself pulls the kid in for a hug. Interestingly, the behind-the-scenes look at the emotional sequence reveals that Robert Downey Jr. added something that would have made the moment even more special.

Downey shared the BTS look on his official Instagram account. The video shows Downey and Tom Holland without all the CGI effects and simply acting at the moment. Check it out below.

"Stark and Parker reunited... #Spidey senses tell me a few of you were hoping for this moment..." Downey wrote.

We're certainly loving the idea that Tony would kiss Peter out of relief that the kid has been brought back after the snap. Although the scene was cut short before Tony could plant a big one on Spidey, we're still happy to have seen these two reunited in Endgame.

There is little doubt that Tony is a huge influence on Peter and the new trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home reveals that Peter is struggling after what happened in Endgame. Nevertheless, he still has Aunt May, Happy Hogan, and Nick Fury to help him move forward. Although we're sorry that Tony won't be around to guide Peter in his new movie, we can rest assured that he has been taught well and will be destined for greater things later this year.

Avengers: Endgame is still screening in theaters worldwide. Spider-Man: Far From Home is scheduled for release on July 2.
