The Oscar-winning actor Robert Duvall died at the age of 95. According to a statement sent by his PR agency on behalf of his wife, Luciana, Robert passed away “peacefully” in his home in Middleburg, Virginia, on Sunday.

Duvall was best known for many of his tough-guy roles across his six-decade career, including in Francis Ford Coppola’s The Godfather franchise.

Here are seven must-watch Robert Duvall films and where you can stream them.

The Godfather (1972) and The Godfather: Part II (1974)

The Godfather was undoubtedly Duvall’s major career breakthrough, where he played the role of Tom Hagen, aka the Corleone family’s loyal consigliere (advisor) and attorney.

Duvall once told PEOPLE that he only had one regret about playing the role:

  • “I just wish I had a better hairpiece.”

Despite his newfound success in Godfather, he was still mostly cast as a supporting actor, which Duvall happened to appreciate, considering he enjoyed being less famous than some of his fellow co-stars.
