Searchlight Pictures has announced the full cast of the highly anticipated sequel to the horror comedy cult classic Ready or Not, titled Ready or Not: Here I Come.
Earlier this year, it was confirmed that the follow-up to the 2019 film was in the works and is set to begin production this year with the Radio Silence team involved again.
Ready or Not Sequel Announces Full Cast
The new cast members who are joining Ready or Not: Here I Come were recently unveiled in the official social media account of Searchlight Pictures.
It was previously announced that Samara Weaving is reprising her role from the first film, and she is joined by Kathryn Newton. Production began yesterday in Toronto.
The other stars that are now confirmed to be part of the sequel are:
- Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)
- Elijah Wood (Lord of the Rings)
- Shawn Hatosy (The Pitt)
- Nestor Carbonell (Shogun)
- Kevin Durand (Abigail)
- David Cronenberg
The details regarding the characters that they are playing are currently under wraps.
"We’re thrilled to be returning to the world of Ready or Not with Samara, Brett, Avery and Andrew and so excited to work with this immensely talented cast and the incredible artists across every department joining the Ready or Not family," the Radio Silence team said in the announcement.
Searchlight Pictures president Matthew Greenfield added, “We’re beyond excited to make another film with the phenomenal Radio Silence. With Ready or Not: Here I Come, we get to go on another ride with the amazing Samara Weaving, mix in awesome new voices, and bring audiences a fresh take that’s every bit as twisted and fun as the first one. This is for those who’ve been waiting, and those who didn’t see it coming.”

The new cast member that made them excited the most is Gellar, since it's been years since she starred in a major movie, and she will be sharing the screen with two horror stars of this generation.
