Why Did Ramses and Marissa Break Up in Love is Blind Season 7?
It's normal to have doubts about your partner, especially when it's on an experimental dating show.
However, considering that the other couples also had to deal with ups and downs, how come Taylor and Garrett still got married in the end? Ramses is not about to follow in their footsteps, unfortunately.
As their wedding gets closer to the date, Marissa decides to open the floor for proper communication before they walk down the aisle together.
What Marissa didn't expect was to hear Ramses being unsure of taking that step forward with her.
“I just don’t think love alone is enough," Ramses said, even though the couple was vocal about their feelings being 'beyond love.'
According to Ramses in Love is Blind season 7 episode 12 titled Leap of Faith, he was 'always led by his feelings' and doesn't want to make the same mistakes he made in the past.
He also pointed out that there's a chance Marissa's 'energy' could be 'too much' and 'overwhelming' for him to deal with in the future, claiming that 'nothing is wrong' with her.
"It doesn't feel real. It feels like it just came out of nowhere," Marissa told Ramses, "How do you become so unsure so fast?" The wedding gets called off. But fans saw it coming prior to the finale.
Fans Declare Ramses as 'The Villain of Love is Blind' Season 7
Since the early honeymoon stage between Ramses and Marissa, fans were unsure whether they truly fit together.
Ramses would be seen being hypercritical of Marissa, especially when she served in the Navy, and whenever Ramses had 'physical needs', he would demand attention from Marissa instead of letting her have her space.
Not to mention, even Marissa's own mother and friends were against the idea of them ending up together.
Not necessarily because they happened to watch their relationship unfold, but because of what he 'brought to the table' on their first meeting with him. Fans couldn't agree more that Marissa 'dodged a bullet':
