Kim Hee Ae and Moon So Ri transform into a powerful duo as Netflix QueenMaker introduces a remarkable K-drama that revolves around politics, corporate greed, and scandals.
Released on April 14, the 11-part episode K-drama showed viewers a unique story of "womance," or the counterpart of bromance that focuses on unique friendship between two strong women.
Directed by Oh Jin Suk of 2017’s My Sassy Girl and penned by Moon Ji Young of I Love Lee Tae Ri and Who Are You, QueenMaker showed how two individuals paved the way and reigned over the male-dominated industry.
Besides the amazing storyline, the Netflix series also featured an outstanding cast lineup, from lead stars to supporting characters.

Moon So Ri
The award-winning actress took on the role of labor rights lawyer, Oh Kyung Sook.
QueenMaker is her K-drama comeback after starring in the 2021 series On the Verge of Insanity with the equally talented Jung Jae Young.
Apart from the Netflix series, Moon So Ri is also known for her work on series like JTBC’s Life, playing the role of Director Hwang Su in The School Nurse Files and Ahn Jin Joo of The Legend of the Blue Sea.
Kim Hee Ae
QueenMaker is Kim Hee Ae’s return to the small screen after headlining the hit K-drama The World of the Married.
She took on the role of the legendary fixer Hwang Do Hee of the EunSung Group.
Although she gained significant popularity through The World of the Married, Kim Hee Ae also played the lead star in Secret Love Affair, Second to Last Love, and more, and she also bagged multiple Baeksang Arts Awards for her various performances.

Ryu Soo Young
The 43-year-old actor is married to Two Weeks' co-star Park Ha Sun.
Ryu Soo Young played the role of mayoral candidate Baek Jae Min in QueenMaker.
He is known for his character in Enless Love and the hit K-drama The Eccentric Daughter-in-Law as well as his role in My Lawyer, Mr. Jo.
Besides QueenMaker, Ryu Soo Young will also star in the upcoming Netflix series Bloodhounds with Woo Do Hwan.
Seo Yi Sook
Another villain in QueenMaker is portrayed by Seo Yi Sook.
K-drama fans might recognize her for her roles in Start-Up, Under the Queen's Umbrella, and The World of the Married, but she is also Chairman Son and Hwang Do Hee’s former boss in QueenMaker.
