Despite Queen Elizabeth’s particularly light schedule, Express UK reported that there are no major concerns for her health ahead of the Platinum Jubilee. Royal author Duncan Larcombe told OK! Magazine that the monarch is really looking forward to the celebrations this year.

He also believes that Queen Elizabeth’s reduced workload is simply a precaution to preserve her health as the celebrations for her Platinum Jubilee gain momentum. Duncan Larcombe told the entertainment news publication:
“It’s been a while since we’ve seen the Queen in person because her Christmas outings were cancelled. But she’s simply taking it easy so she’s in full health for this year’s celebrations. Courtiers are wary not to put too much pressure on her so she’s focusing on desk work, but in the coming months we should see her attend more virtual audiences."

Queen Elizabeth has been out of the public eye lately. However, Her Majesty appears to be in good spirits despite her slow return to the royal engagements. She was even seen smiling while driving in her Land Rover weeks ago.
The weekend, however, is said to be bringing mixed emotions for Queen Elizabeth as she commemorates two key events: the 70th year death anniversary of the late King George VI and the official start of her Platinum Jubilee. While the anniversary of both events would be a historical day, it would be hard to ignore the absence of the late Prince Philip.
Queen Elizabeth Steps Out For First Outing In 2022
Meanwhile, Queen Elizabeth attended a Sandringham House event with representatives from local community groups to mark the start of her Platinum Jubilee. Her Majesty reportedly cut a social cake decorated with the emblem of the Platinum Jubilee as representatives from local charities and members of the Sandringham Estate surround her.
Queen Elizabeth also talked with pensioners and their families, including representatives from local charities Little Discoverers and West Norfolk Befriending. Guests also handed flowers to Her Majesty, which included lily of the valley that formed part of Queen Elizabeth’s Coronation bouquet in 1953.
In June, a weekend of celebrations to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth is planned. Events, which would kickstart on June 2, would include Trooping the Colour, the lighting of Platinum beacons, a service of Thanksgiving at St. Paul’s Cathedral, the Derby at Epsom Downs, a live concert called “Platinum Party at the Palace,” the big Jubilee Lunch and the Platinum Jubilee Pageant.
Queen Elizabeth, on Sunday, would officially become the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee.
