Prince Philip's Alleged Infidelities Against Queen Elizabeth Were Never Proven
Throughout his lifetime, Prince Philip has been linked to a slew of women. However, it is important to note that the cheating allegations were never proven to be accurate.
According to TIME, Prince Philip was linked to the likes of writer Daphne du Maurier and cabaret star Helene Cordet. However, there was no evidence to prove that he had an affair with them or with any other woman.
In the book Elizabeth II: Her Life in Our Times, royal biographer Sarah Bradford also claimed that Prince Philip had affairs, and the queen just accepted them.
"The Duke of Edinburgh has had affairs ... full-blown affairs and more than one. He has affairs and the queen accepts it. I think she thinks that's how men are. He's never been one for chasing actresses. His interest is quite different. The women he goes for are always younger than him, usually beautiful, and highly aristocratic," she wrote (via Town & Country).
But despite the controversy, the queen still referred to Prince Philip as her strength and her stay.
