Meghan Markle was reportedly set to join via a video call, but Prince Harry's brother and father didn't agree.
King Charles And Prince William Fear Meghan Markle Would Leak Conversations?
Queen Elizabeth summoned King Charles, Prince William and Prince Harry for a royal summit after the Sussexes decided to resign from their royal duties. Markle was in Canada and was set to join the family discussion via a video call, but it didn't happen.
According to royal expert and author Robert Jobson in his new book Our King Charles III — The Man And The Monarch Revealed, Prince Harry's family didn't trust his wife.
Jobson wrote, per Express:
After the meeting, Queen Elizabeth released a statement to share what they agreed upon. Her Majesty expressed support for the Sussexes' decision.

Prince Harry opened up about the royal summit in his and Meghan Markle's Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan. According to him, the discussion wasn't friendly at all while accusing the heir apparent of screaming at him.
Prince Harry claimed in the fifth episode of their Netflix documentary.
Markle also seemingly shaded the royals for not inviting her to join them during the discussion. The former actress said about the summit in the same episode, per Yahoo!:
Prince Harry quipped that it was clear to him, his family planned it out so she would not be in the room.
