Prince William allegedly had issues with BBC's new documentary The Princes and the Press due to his wife, Kate Middleton, a report says. The Duke of Cambridge wasn't happy that it brought back the row between his wife and sister-in-law and how it convinced the viewers that it was the Duke and Duchess of Sussex who were telling the truth all along.
Prince William Allegedly Had Issues With BBC Documentary The Princes And The Press
Royal journalist and biographer Duncan Larcombe weighed in on the issues after BBC dropped its new documentary The Princes and the Press. Larcombe felt that the Duke of Cambridge had some issues with the program because it brought back the story of Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle's row and suggested that Kensington Palace willingly briefed the media about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Express reported.
"One of the key issues with this BBC documentary is the fact that what they have done is underestimate just how sensitive a subject it is, Prince William in particular that his own brother and his sister-in-law Meghan have accused the Monarch in Oprah Winfrey of briefing and deliberately allowing stories about Meghan that she made Kate cry over the famous row before the wedding and they claim that the story was not true, its the wrong way around," Larcombe said on True Royalty's The Royal Beat.
"So we’ve got an argument here that who made cry who which is a primary school thing but the palace to take the very much thing not to be drawn in this row."
Aside from bringing up the rift between the two duchesses, the program seemed more inclined to show the Sussexes in a positive light because, as Larcombe said, it convinced some audience that the Sussexes were the ones telling the truth.
"The BBC’s documentary, allowed people to say yeah ‘they were briefing,’ ‘they were telling us this’ Harry and Meghan are effectively right," he added.

Meghan Markle Speaks About Kate Middleton Row In Oprah Winfrey Interview
In November 2018, there were reports that Meghan Markle made her sister-in-law Kate Middleton cry during the flower girls' dress fitting ahead of the royal wedding. The Duchess of Sussex addressed the issue when she and Prince Harry sat down for an interview with Oprah Winfrey in March. She denied it and said, "the reverse happened."
Winfrey confronted her with what she meant with her statement and Prince Harry's wife said it was Middleton who made her cry. Markle confirmed that the disagreement was over the flower girls' dresses but declined to share more details because Middleton had already apologized to her and she had already forgiven her.

"She did what I would do if I knew that I hurt someone, right, to just take accountability for it," Markle said of Middleton, who sent her a note and flowers to apologize.
The Duchess of Sussex said she never wanted the story to come out, even if it happened. So, she was shocked it made headlines, and the reports were reversed. She also stressed that everyone in the palace knew the truth, but no one came forward to clear her name.
It has been years since the incident happened. In July, an unnamed source told Us Weekly that Prince William and Prince Harry's wives had already put their differences aside. The duchesses allegedly exchanged SMS after Markle and Prince Harry welcomed baby Lili in June.
"Tensions have eased between Meghan and Kate," the source said. "Kate even sent Meghan a gift for the baby. They’re in a better place and have exchanged texts since the birth of Lilibet."
Middleton also expressed her interest in meeting Prince Harry and Markle's daughter because they haven't met her when asked for a message for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's newborn weeks after Markle's delivery.
"I wish her all the very best. I can't wait to meet her," Middleton said, per NBC News. "We haven't met her yet. I hope that will be soon."
