Prince William and Kate Middleton have attended numerous red-carpet events. While they aren't celebrities, the royals reportedly enjoy the spotlight, according to a body language expert.
Prince William And Kate Middleton Both Love Red-Carpet Events?
Body language expert Judi James noticed the royal couple's facial expressions when they attend glamorous events. According to her, their eyes show that they enjoy it.
"There is an undeniable twinkle in William's eye here that suggests an air of anticipation and excitement that has often been lacking in royal body language at these events in the past," she said, Mirror reported. "His hand-rubbing gesture as he walks towards [sic] the theatre is a signal of enthusiasm as though he can't wait to get in there and see the show."
She noted that the Prince and Princess of Wales have "always" hinted they like fancy occasions.
"They might be more than at home wearing jeans, boots and other casual clothes", she added. "But there are always some subtle body language signals that reveal William and Kate totally adore packing on the more romantic A-list glamour for formal evening events."
Prince William And Kate Middleton Having Fun With Their Red Carpet Outfits?
The Prince and Princess of Wales always look their best they walk the red carpet. James examined their appearance at a Royal Variety Performance in November 2021 and praised them for the way they pulled off their ensembles.
"Kate's top-to-toe shimmering sequins and the way her hair has been styled in a swept-over cascade of curls is carried off perfectly via her very confident, elegant posture that shows the look off to perfection," James said.
Middleton was known for recycling outfits. The outfit she wore at the Royal Variety was from her go-to designer Jenny Packham and was the same one she wore to a reception hosted by the British High Commissioner to Pakistan in 2019, according to Hello!.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also impressed the crowd when they joined King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla a the premiere of James Bond: No Time To Die in September 2021. She was stunning in her "Goldfinger" gold sequin dress with a cape by Packham. Prince William also looked dapper in his velvet jacket, which experts called a "homage to his screen hero James Bond."
Fans are eager to see how the royal couple will dress in the second Earthshot Prize ceremony in Boston on Friday.
