Prince Harry is reportedly planning to mend fences with his father, King Charles, and brother Prince William. However, he reportedly didn't want to argue with his wife, Meghan Markle, because they aren't on the same page about the matter.
Prince Harry Plans To End Rift With Prince William And King Charles
There are various reports about Prince Harry's relationship with his family. However, one insider told Heat World that he "went home with a heavy heart." The Duke of Sussex was reportedly feeling "physically and emotionally so far away" even if he spent the last few days in the U.K. with his family due to the Queen's funeral.
Insiders told the outlet that Prince Harry wanted to extend his stay in his home country and meet his dad and brother. However, he also didn't want to argue with his wife, Meghan Markle.
"Harry didn't want to argue with Meghan – and she'd had enough of what she calls the 'bad vibes' – but, ideally, he would have liked to fly the kids over and extend their stay, so he could spend more time with his father and try to mend things with William. There's so much unfinished business between them, and Harry's struggling with the situation. But Meghan doesn't feel the same and they're in different places about it right now," an anonymous source said.
Prince Harry Reportedly Plans To Return To UK Sans Meghan Markle
Since he felt that there was still unfinished business between him and his family, Kate Middleton's brother-in-law reportedly planned to return to England before the holidays but without his wife.
"He intends to come back to the U.K. before Christmas – most likely alone," the source added. "He wants to sit down with the King and his brother, and call a truce. He's hopeful that his father will compromise, so he and Meghan can still be part of the royal family, while doing their own thing in the U.S. Time will tell if Charles is open to it and if Meghan is willing to try, but Harry is hopeful he can repair these broken relationships and heal the wounds of the past."
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were supposed to only stay for less than a week in the U.K. last month. However, due to the Queen's unexpected death, they extended their stay.
They were in the U.K. for over two weeks. However, they reportedly didn't meet King Charles and Prince William privately. They hurriedly flew back to California a day after the Queen's state funeral on Sept. 19, Vanity Fair reported. The celebrity parents reportedly "sorely missed" their kids. It was reportedly the first time they had been away for that long from their children Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 1.
