Prince Harry made several allegations against Prince William in his memoir Spare. In the book, he recounted when the Prince of Wales allegedly laughed at him after he delivered a public speech.
Prince Harry Couldn't Believe Prince William's Insensitivity, Details Incident In Spare
The Duke of Sussex dropped his book earlier this month. He had been sharing a lot of intimate family secrets in his memoir. At one point, he called his big brother "insensitive" for laughing at him.
"I was an agoraphobe. Which was nearly impossible given my public role. After one speech, which couldn't be avoided or cancelled, and during which I'd nearly fainted, Willy came up to me backstage. Laughing," Prince Harry wrote, Us Weekly reported. "'Harold! Look at you! You're drenched.'"
"Him of all people. He'd been present for my very first panic attack. … He'd told me that day or soon after that I needed help. And now he was teasing me? I couldn't imagine how he could be so insensitive."
Prince Harry Claimed Prince William Attacked Him
Elsewhere in the book, Prince Harry recounted a physical row with the future king. According to him, Prince William dropped by Nottingham Cottage, and they had an argument over Meghan Markle. However, Kate Middleton's husband was reportedly already "piping hot."
Prince William "grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and ... knocked me to the floor," Prince Harry wrote.
"I landed on the dog's bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me. I lay there for a moment, dazed, then got to my feet and told him to get out."
Prince Harry said Prince William later went back and apologized.
Prince William Might Not Reconcile With Prince Harry
The Time royal correspondent Valentine Low weighed in on the royal siblings' relationship. Prince Harry previously said in his interview on ITV that he wanted his father, King Charles, and brother Prince William back.
However, the Courtiers author doubts the heir to the throne shares the same interest after following Prince Harry's allegations against him on Spare.
"Laying your family's dirty linen out there in public, it's a painful thing to do. And I'm not sure William will ever forgive him," Low told Us Weekly.
