Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not officially been invited to attend King Charles’ coronation on May 6. But during a recent interview, the Duke of Sussex said that the important event is still several months from now, so a lot of things can still happen. Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Not Wanted To Attend King Charles’ Coronation?
But while speaking with Sky News Australia, royal biographer Angela Levin said that the last thing that Britons want is for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to attend King Charles’ coronation. After all, there are fears that they will get the focus away from the monarch or they could rat out the events at the coronation in another interview or even a second tell-all.
“A lot of us in the UK – and I mean a lot – really don't want them here at all. Because you can't trust them, they will report everything or do another documentary about it or another book and look for all the negative. This is his moment; this is what he's waited for since he was a little boy and watched his mummy in 1953. And he deserves to have the full attention of everybody around the world,” he said (via Now to Love).

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Will Skip King Charles’ Coronation Even If They Get An Invitation?
According to Daily Mail, even if Prince Harry and Markle are invited to King Charles’ coronation, it’s unlikely for them to attend. If they do, the couple wouldn’t be invited to make an appearance on the balcony of Buckingham Palace together with other members of the royal family.
“At Buckingham Palace, The King and The Queen Consort, accompanied by Members of the Royal Family, will appear on the balcony to conclude the day’s ceremonial events,” a statement from the palace read (via Cosmopolitan).
The publication also pointed out that Prince Harry and Markle might indeed skip the coronation because it falls on the same day as their son Archie’s fourth birthday. As such, the couple will most likely be in Montecito then.
King Charles Coronation Details Released Ahead Of May 6
Other key details regarding King Charles’ coronation have also been released. A palace insider revealed that the monarch would not wear the traditional attire for the event.

From Buckingham Palace, King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla will embark on the King’s Procession to Westminster Abbey, where the morning service will be held. After the event, the royal couple will return to Buckingham Palace for the Coronation Procession.
After which, the newly-crowned royal couple will make an appearance on the Buckingham Palace balcony. They will be joined by Prince William and Kate Middleton, among many others.
