Prince George already has some interests that worry his mom, Kate Middleton. A new report claims that the Princess of Wales is "a little bit concerned" about his new hobby.
Kate Middleton Worried About Prince George Wanting To Learn Martial Arts?
Prince William and Middleton's eldest child, Prince George, 9, will be king someday. It's a huge responsibility, but at present, his mother is more concerned about the hobby that he is keen to learn.
"[George] apparently has taken up the idea of martial arts," royal correspondent and commentator Neil Sean claims, Express reported.
Prince George seemed to have heard the details about martial arts from their Norland-trained nanny and got interested in it.
"This is something that apparently Prince George has taken very much to heart," Sean continued. "He likes the idea of, you know, basically looking after himself."
The celebrity mom is reportedly a bit concerned, but Prince William is supportive of the idea.
"His Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales thinks this will be good character building, good for him to have that, sort of, independence," Sean added.
Prince George Inherits Dad Prince William's The Basher Attitude
The Prince and Princess of Wales' firstborn has already made several public appearances with his parents. For instance, in July, he made his Wimbledon debut.
While the future king has been well-behaved during his formal engagements with his parents, Katie Nicholl claims in her new book The New Royals, that he sparred with his friends at school and he threatened them.
"My dad will be king, so you better watch out," Prince George reportedly said.
Kinsey Schofield, host of the To Di For Daily podcast, reacted after learning about what Prince George said and she remembered Prince William's childhood years.
"While I personally haven't heard any negative stories about Prince George's behavior, it does sound quite similar to Prince William's childhood alter ego, 'The Basher,'" Schofield told Fox News Digital. She added, "I wouldn't stop bragging if Prince William was my dad either."
Prince William also had a similar encounter with his classmates and he reportedly told them, "My daddy can beat up your daddy... my daddy's the Prince of Wales." Also, the new Prince of Wales loved to flex his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, who was the Queen at the time.
"William was considered a cheeky 'terror' at school for his antics. Outlets called him 'noisy' and 'unruly' at the time. Royal experts blamed his upbringing. Then-Prince Charles didn't want William to feel suffocated by discipline and rules while Princess Diana thought his naughty behavior was hilarious," the royal expert added.
