Isekai anime fans have no shortage of shows to watch every season, even if they look to as far as 2025. That’s because the Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Time anime was just revealed, and it will be released in January next year.
This new series is based on an isekai light novel series that has been ongoing since February 2018.
Aside from having a premise that should be familiar to genre fans, it also features two familiar voices from mega-popular isekai.
Popular KonoSuba VAs Join the Possibly the Greatest Alchemist Cast
Alongside the anime’s announcement, a trailer was released that not only featured new clips but also put the spotlight on the voice cast.
Fans of KonoSuba will no doubt find some of the VAs familiar. That’s because Aqua and Darkness’ VAs are part of the Possibly the Greatest Alchemist cast.
They are also joined by other notable anime voice actors. The confirmed cast members include:
- Shogo Sakata (Aki Hayakawa in Chainsaw Man) as Takumi Iruma
- Ai Kayano (Darkness in KonoSuba) as Sofia Sylphid
- Nao Toyama (Ruka Sarashina in Rent-A-Girlfriend) as Maria
- Afumi Hashi (Charlotte Godard in Undead Girl Murder Farce) as Kaede/Maple
- Sora Amamiya (Aqua in KonoSuba) as Goddess Nolyn
Darkness VA Ai Kayano may be playing a more serious character this time, but Aqua actress Sora Amamiya will once again voice a goddess whom the main character will meet as he gets reincarnated into a new world.
