Police University is an upcoming South Korean drama that will be broadcasted on the KBS2 network. The series is directed by Yoo Gwang-mo and written by Min Jung. The series will take over the time slot occupied by At A Distance, Spring Is Green.
According to the drama's production team, Police University will revolve around the theme of growth. How youths who have taken their first steps in society, as well as the adults who will lead them, will learn from and influence each other.

Police University Kdrama Release Date And Time: When Will Police University Air?
Police University is scheduled to premiere its first episode on August 9, 2021. The Kdrama will air new episodes every Monday and Tuesday at 9:30 PM KST on KBS2 network.
International fans can also access the series and will be available for online streaming through KOCOWA and Viki with English subtitles.

Police University Kdrama Plot and Storyline
Police University is an upcoming Korean drama series set on a National Police University campus. The drama will depict the story of a passionate former detective, now a professor named Yoo Dong Man (Cha Tae Hyun), who has 20 years of experience working on various crime divisions and cases.
Yoo Dong Man meets a former hacker named Kang Sun Ho (Jung Jin-young) who becomes his student in the university and eventually cooperates to investigate a case together.
Joined by Oh Kang Hee (Krystal Jung), the drama will portray realistic conflicts and interactions between a university professor and his troublemaker students, who all wanted to pursue their dreams as police officers.
Police University Kdrama Cast
Multi-awarded actor and My Sassy Girl lead Cha Tae Hyun will play the character of Yoo Dong Man in Police University. His role is a former detective who has led his life dedicated to catching criminals and solving cases for over 20 years and has also been involved in the cyber investigation.
The Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds actor is expected to showcase his exemplary in the acting field along with a comical portrayal of the detective-turned-professor Yoo Dong Man of the National Police University.
First recognized as a member of the Korean boy group B1A4, Jung Jin-young gained recognition for his acting through the Kdrama Love in the Moonlight in 2016. A year after, he starred in the two-episode drama special If We Were A Season in 2017 and later on was confirmed to lead the comedy film The Dude In Me alongside veteran actor Park Sung Woong.
Jinyoung will play the role of Kang Seon Ho, a freshman in the National Police University who is a genius hacker. He will use his good sense and intelligence in solving cases.

Lastly, Korean-American singer and actress Krystal Jung will portray the character of Oh Kang Hee, an intelligent first-year student who eventually forms a team with Kang Sun Ho.
Krystal is a former member of the multinational Kpop group f(x) until her departure from SM Entertainment in 2020. She is known for her roles in the Kdramas My Lovely Girl, High Kick 3, The Heirs, The Bride of Habaek, Prison Playbook, and Search. Krystal also starred alongside Jang Ki-yong and Chae Soo-bin in the romantic comedy film Sweet & Sour.
