Comedian Phil Wang's Hilarious Backstage Mishap on Wonka Set
For the uninitiated, Phil Wang is a beloved stand-up comic who headlined his world tour, a Netflix special in 2021 called Philly Philly Wang Wang, landed a role on Life & Beth, and is one of the featured cameos in the Wonka prequel film.
Recently making an appearance on The Graham Norton Show, Wang shared some behind-the-scenes on how he landed his mystery role in the Wonka film.
This, unfortunately, includes injuring his arm while dancing on set with Timothée Chalamet:

The Comedian's Brief Wonka Role & Cameo Appearance Explained
The involvement of Phil Wang in Wonka was short but sweet. He plays the character Colin, one of the dancers in the background.
Describing the character, Wang said it's a relatively 'small part' that involved doing a musical number alongside the titular chocolatier himself:
