Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage made his MCU debut in Avengers: Infinity War where he played Eitri, the King of the Dwarves of Nidavellir, and a weaponsmith who helped Thor make his Stormbreaker. The character hasn't made another appearance ever since and fans have been wondering if we'll ever see him again given that he survived the events. Now, it looks like we have a potential clue on when we might see him again.
Speaking with Empire, Dinklage teases about his potential MCU return in which he hinted that we might possibly see him make an appearance in the upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder. "Well, there's another Thor movie there, isn't there? Coming out that Taika [Waititi]'s directed. But, I didn't say anything. I didn't say anything," he said. "If you die in a Marvel movie, doesn't mean it's your last Marvel movie. That's the crazy thing, it doesn't matter. Somebody could make a TV—now, there's TV shows. It's Marvel World, we're just all part of it."
Dinklage was obviously playing coy with his statement, but he is hinting that he might show up in Thor: Love and Thunder which would make sense since Eitri already has an association with the God of Thunder and he could help him again make another weapon. Maybe this time, we might see them make a new Mjolnir since we saw in the film's toy leaks that Jane Foster will be wielding the Mjolnir once she becomes the Mighty Thor.
It's not out of the realm of possibility that the Avengers: Infinity War star will be making his MCU comeback soon since the character is still alive as far as we know. As the actor also pointed out, even if a character dies, they can still make an appearance through flashbacks, resurrections, or the magic of the multiverse. We will find out in just a few months if Eitri will indeed be appearing again in the upcoming film as he teased in the interview.
