Fans Think Oshi no Ko Season 2 New Key Visual Is Straight Out of a Fantasy Anime
Reddit fans are quick to notice that the new key visual for Oshi no Ko season 2 doesn’t look like a visual for Oshi no Ko at all due to the characters who are in costume.
At a glance, the new key visual looks straight out of a fantasy or isekai anime, as the fan-favorite characters except for Ruby and Mem-Cho don’t look recognizable, giving fans the impression that it’s not a visual for an idol anime series.
The new visual also features characters wielding weapons, like your typical isekai or shonen anime characters, with different roles to fulfill, like archer, sword master, assassin, and more.
It’s as if the characters who are in costume are preparing to fight the demon king and its evil forces in the isekai or fantasy world, while Ruby and Mem-Cho wait in peace in the real world.
If an anime fan who has not seen Oshi no Ko sees this new visual, they may truly misunderstand the series for an action-packed isekai or fantasy anime.
