Where to Watch the Oshi no Ko Live Action
The Oshi no Ko live-action series will be available on Amazon Prime Video worldwide on November 28. It will include English subtitles, although it is unclear whether the series will be dubbed in English.
Following the debut of the live-action series on Prime Video, the sequel film is scheduled to hit theaters on December 20, but it is unclear whether this will be limited to Japan.
As of writing, there is no word on whether other streaming services such as Netflix and Crunchyroll will pick up the live-action series when it premieres.
What to Expect from the Oshi no Ko Live Action
Based on the teaser trailer alone, it appears that the Oshi no Ko live-action series will likely adapt events from the anime's first season.
If this is the case, the upcoming live-action series would include four story arcs from the manga series, perhaps beginning with the Prologue: Childhood arc and ending with the First Concert arc.
This means viewers will most likely be able to see Ai Hoshino's heartbreaking fate, the reincarnation of Gorou Amemiya and his patient Sarina Tendouji, and Ruby and Aqua Hoshino's distinct ways of honoring their mother.
So far, there is no indication whether the eight-episode series will feature the 2.5D Stage Play arc, also known as the Tokyo Blade arc.
