Onimusha: Musashi’s Quest to Banish Demons
Onimusha is set in the early Edo Period, a pivotal era in Japan’s transition to peace, as warfare gradually receded into the annals of history.
The series follows an aged Miyamoto Musashi on a clandestine mission.
He is armed with the legendary Oni Gauntlet and is ready to embark on a grand odyssey to eliminate the lurking demons that threaten the land.

The Onimusha anime was released by Netflix worldwide on November 2, 2023.
Onimusha is based on CAPCOM’s video game titled Onimusha Sengoku-era. It is a survival action game series that debuted in 2001.
The previous installment in the series, a remastered version of Onimusha: Warlords, was launched in January 2019.
