Olivia Newton-John Secretly Loving John Travolta For Years?
Sources told Globe Magazine, in its latest edition, that Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta had the same passion for each other in real life, but the timing was reportedly never right.
The entertainment news outlet claimed that Travolta was still reeling from the loss of his love, Diana Hyland, who died in his arms from breast cancer just three months earlier, when the duo stepped into their roles as greaser Danny Zuko and goody-two-shoes Sandy Olsson in the 1978 movie musical.
Insiders suggested that it was Olivia Newton-John who helped John Travolta navigate his grief, and the actor allegedly returned the favor when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992 and again in 2013. The actor reportedly stayed by Olivia’s side even after she received a devastating stage 4 death sentence in 2017.
Spies told Globe Magazine that John Travolta was also there for Olivia Newton-John when her 11-year marriage to Xanadu dancer Matt Lattanzi collapsed in 1995. However, by that time, the actor was already married to Kelly Preston.
