Kim Kardashian recently revealed that she failed to pass the California bar exam amid scathing reviews of her new legal drama series All's Fair.

For the last few years, the renowned socialite/influencer has been studying law through a four-year law apprenticeship, which would allow her to take the bar exam after completing the program. If she passes, she would be following the footsteps of her late father, the famed lawyer Robert Kardashian.

Did Kim Kardashian Pass the California Bar Exam?

In a recent Instagram story, Kardashian admitted to her followers that she failed the California Bar Exam when she took it in July.

"Well... I'm not a lawyer yet, I just play a very well-dressed one on TV. Six years into this law journey, and I'm still all in until I pass the bar. No shortcuts, no giving up — just more studying and even more determination," she wrote in her post.

Kardashian went on to thank her fans for the support they had given her and shared that she was also close to getting the passing score on the exam.

"Thank you to everyone who has supported and encouraged me along the way so far," she said.

"Falling short isn't failure — it's fuel. I was so close to passing the exam and that only motivates me even more. Let's go!!!!!!!!!!!"

The disappointing news came as Kardashian's new Hulu legal drama series, All's Fair, where she plays a fictional lawyer, has been receiving scathing reviews from critics and has been hailed as one of the worst TV shows this year. However, some fans have also defended the series, believing it was meant to be campy.

Despite the show's negative reviews, it ultimately became Hulu's biggest scripted series debut in three years, with a global viewership of 3.2 million in its first three days on the streamer.

What is All's Fair About?

The Hulu legal drama series All's Fair follows a team of female divorce attorneys who leave a male-dominated firm to open their own powerhouse practice. Fierce, brilliant, and emotionally complicated, they navigate high-stakes breakups, scandalous secrets, and shifting allegiances, both in the courtroom and within their own ranks.

The star-studded cast includes Kardashian, Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash-Betts, Glenn Close, Sarah Paulson, Teyana Taylor, and Matthew Noszka. Ryan Murphy serves as the creator/showrunner of the series.

It premiered on Hulu last Tuesday, November 4, with new episodes releasing weekly until December 9. The first season is expected to consist of nine episodes. No decision has been made yet on its renewal.
