New Trailer for the Home Release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

After a release last December, Lucasfilm is ready to bring Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker to home release this March. Just in, we have a new, spoiler-filled trailer, plus official dates on when the digital and Blu-Ray/DVD will release.

As per the description, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will come out on digital on March 17 and Blu-Ray//DVD on March 31. Other sites had listed an earlier release before, but I guess the dates were only off by a week.

As for bonus features, the release is said to come with a feature-length documentary called The Skywalker Legacy. Digital exclusives include videos such as The Maestro's Finale, Pasaana Pursuit: Creating the Speeder Chase, Cast of Creatures, D-O: Key to the Past, Aliens in the Desert, and Warwick & Son. Buying the movie at Target will get you a Filmmaker Gallery Book and Bonus content disk. Best Buy will have a collectible steel book.

A lot of fans online have actually been asking for a ‘J.J. Cut' of the movie, seeing as the theatrical cut wasn't so well received, but if WB can't budge after all this fuss with the Snyder Cut, I don't imagine Disney will either.

When it's discovered that the evil Emperor Palpatine did not die at the hands of Darth Vader, the rebels must race against the clock to find out his whereabouts. Finn and Poe lead the Resistance to put a stop to the First Order's plans to form a new Empire, while Rey anticipates her inevitable confrontation with Kylo Ren.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker hits digital March 17 and Blu-Ray/DVD on March 31.
