New Peter Pan & Wendy Trailer Shows Another Look at the Live-Action Reimagining of the Disney Classic

Walt Disney Studios has released the new trailer for the upcoming film Peter Pan & Wendy, the live-action reimagining of the 1953 animated classic. The preview gave us another look at the magical trip to Neverland as well as the formidable rivalry between Peter Pan and the villainous Captain Hook.

We also got an extended glimpse at some of the magical sequences that we will witness in the film including Wendy and her siblings flying around London at night alongside Peter Pan. It also looks like Wendy herself will also be involved in the action as we saw her with a sword.

Based on this new trailer, this live-action reimagining sounds really promising and it will be visually striking as shown by some of the shots that they featured throughout the preview. It also sounds like Wendy will be an equal lead in the story which is perhaps why she is also in the title of the film.

Hopefully, the film will be as great as it promises to be and will be on par with some of the well-received live-action remakes of Disney animated classics and it won't have the same reception as last year's Pinocchio.

The film introduces Wendy Darling, a young girl looking to avoid boarding school who meets Peter Pan, a boy who refuses to grow up. Alongside her brothers and a tiny fairy, Tinker Bell, she travels with Peter to the magical world of Neverland. There, she encounters an evil pirate captain, Captain Hook, and embarks on a thrilling and dangerous adventure that will change her life forever.

The cast includes Jude Law, Alexander Molony, Ever Anderson, Yara Shahidi, Alyssa Wapanatâhk, Joshua Pickering, Jacobi Jupe, Molly Parker, Alan Tudyk, and Jim Gaffigan. David Lowery directed the film and co-write the screenplay with Toby Halbrooks, who he also collaborated with on The Green Knight.
