The upcoming Peacock documentary Matthew Perry: A Hollywood Tragedy will explore the late actor's tragic passing and the ketamine culture in Hollywood.
The Friends star unexpectedly passed away at the age of 54 in October 2023. Autopsy reports revealed that he died due to the acute effects of ketamine and five people have been charged in connection.

Peacock recently unveiled the official trailer for the upcoming one-hour documentary Matthew Perry: A Hollywood Tragedy ahead of its February 25 premiere.
The sneak peek gave us an idea of how the documentary will examine Perry's tragic passing, the investigation of his death, and Hollywood's obsession with ketamine.
"Hollywood is full of enablers. They really preyed on somebody vulnerable," the voiceover said in the trailer.
Martin Estrada, U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California, noted in the talking head footage, "We used to blame the victim. We don’t do that anymore."

Will Matthew Perry's Friends Co-Stars Appear in the Documentary?
Perry's Friends co-stars (Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer) did not participate in the documentary. They will only appear through archive footage.
However, Morgan Fairchild, who played Chandler Bing's mother in Friends, was interviewed for the documentary alongside law enforcement experts and Hollywood insiders.
There is no confirmation that Perry's family members were consulted, interviewed, or involved in the making of the documentary.
