A newly released set of images for Deadpool & Wolverine showed fans their best look at the cameo appearance of X-Men fan-favorite Toad.
Fans were anticipating the release of the MCU film not only because of the team-up between the titular heroes but also because it featured appearances from the actors in past Fox Marvel movies.
In the months leading up to the film's release, fans were able to get their glimpse of the threequel through the set photos and trailers regarding some of the returning characters that we might see.
Deadpool and Wolverine Images Confirm Toad's Appearance
A new batch of still images for Deadpool & Wolverine were released which gave fans another look at the hit MCU film.
One of the new images confirmed that Toad made an appearance. Daniel Medina Ramos portrayed the character, but he is based on Ray Park's likeness in the original X-Men.

Toad's appearance was rumored for months as the character was spotted on the set photos back when the film was in production last year.
Fortunately, fans were able to get a confirmation that the villain is one of the many familiar faces that show up in Deadpool & Wolverine even if he mostly appeared in the background.
The character appeared as one of the members of Cassandra Nova's army in the Void that Deadpool and the resistance group faced during a major battle.
Aside from Hugh Jackman (Wolverine), the other actors from past Marvel movies who made appearances are Jennifer Garner (Elektra), Wesley Snipes (Blade), Channing Tatum (Gambit), Aaron Stanford (Pyro), Dafne Keen (X-23), Chris Evans (Johnny Storm), and Tyler Mane (Sabretooth).
Deadpool & Wolverine is set to arrive on digital VOD platforms this October 1.
