Cyberpunk 2077 is getting its own card game spinoff next year just like how CD Projekt Red's other game The Witcher got Gwent but the game will be tabletop.
CD Projekt Red has announced the card game on their website today and it's called Cyberpunk 2077 – Afterlife: The Card Game. The card game is being developed in collaboration with board game publisher CMON.
In Afterlife, players will take the role of Fixers — databrokers and masterminds of Night City, and your job is to recruit cyberpunks, equip them with gear, and give them missions. You can gain Street Cred for each successful mission. The card game uses an innovative drafting mechanic and a special dashboard. Players will be able to sacrifice cards to buy new ones.
Cyberpunk 2077 – Afterlife: The Card Gameis set to release in 2020. Cyberpunk 2077 is set to release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on April 16, 2020.
