The second trailer for Captain Marvel has been released, and it shows more footage than the first teaser released during Monday Night Football a few months ago. Marvel's new trailer shows more of the film's general premise, giving us a look at her return to Earth and her meeting with Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson).

The trailer also reveals Jude Law as Mar-Vell, the commander of Starforce and Danvers' mentor. There's also a glimpse of Ronan, the Accuser (played by Lee Pace). The space battles look pretty epic, and it looks like the film will give us a good origin story about one of the most powerful Avengers superheroes ever introduced in the Marvel universe.
Synopsis:
Captain Marvel follows Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe's most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races. Set in the 1990s, Captain Marvell is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Captain Marvel is set to release in theaters on March 8, 2019; Avengers 4 on May 3, 2019, and Spider-Man: Far From Home on July 5, 2019.
