There are only two months left before the premiere of Avengers: Endgame and the Russo brothers want you to remember that with a brief new teaser.
Joe and Anthony Russo shared a new Endgame teaser on their official Twitter account. The Avengers: Infinity War directors reminded their followers that there is only "2 months to go..." Watch the teaser below.
It's certainly an awesome reminder. However, the teaser doesn't actually feature any new footage from Endgame. Most of the footage comes from the most recent TV spot that premiered during the 2019 Super Bowl.
Marvel Studios might have an obvious reason why they aren't releasing any new teasers for Endgame yet. After all, Captain Marvel is set to premiere in March so they want to make sure that fans will be focused on the highly anticipated Brie Larson flick instead. Nevertheless, it's possible that a new trailer will debut after Captain Marvel hits theaters.
But will the next trailer also reveal something new about the survivors from Infinity War? There have been speculations that although the victims of Thanos' snap will be brought back, it could also lead to the death of some beloved characters. Fans are already concerned that Endgame could feature the demise of Iron Man or Captain America.
The synopsis for Endgame reads as follows:
"Following the events of Avengers: Infinity War, the universe lies in shambles and the remaining Avengers and their allies must reassemble to repair the damage caused by Thanos and bring harmony back to the universe."
Avengers: Endgame is scheduled for release on April 26.
