It looks like She-Ra and the Princesses of Power finally has a release date for its second batch of episodes on Netflix.
Netflix US' news account See What's Next made the announcement today, putting up a post about She-Ra and the Princesses of Power's renewal.
It might have certainly taken while for Netflix to decide to renew the series, however, while the first season of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power won the support of critics with a 100% Rotten Tomatoes score, audiences didn't quite feel the same way, grading the show with a tepid 71% rating. The streaming giant must have needed some time to consider renewing the series after its premiere in November.
Now, with a series renewal, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power creator Noelle Stevenson is free to drop the show's release date, telling her followers that the second season of the series is making its way to Netflix on April 26.
For those who have yet to see the series, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power is a progressive animated web television series that follows the life of Adora, a former soldier in the army of Hordak and his Horde. Drawn to the magical sword of She-Ra, Adora discovers her fate and her legacy as a hero. Transforming into She-Ra, the Princess of Power, Adora leads a group of other magical princesses, forming an alliance to defeat Hordak and the Horde.
Right now we're not sure what Stevenson and her team have planned for She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, but we bet that it's going to be a whole lot of fun.
She-Ra and the Princesses of Power is set to return with its second batch of episodes on April 26, 2019.
